The Music

One very exciting and new element of Little Lotus Project is the music.

We were lucky enough to have the skills of Auckland based sound engineer, Leon Dalton. Leon has been in the industry for many years and has worked with the likes of Madonna, Duran Duran, Snow Patrol and many more.

While over on the border, Leon recorded sounds and samples with the children and also sounds from the area in which the children live. He also recorded with a Burmese Hip-hop crew called Generation Wave. These recordings have been given to a number of artists who are working their magic on the sounds, adding their own elements and putting it all together to help us form a unique digital EP which is for sale online for just $10 through Bandcamp, with all profits going towards the children’s ongoing welfare. Here’s a wee look at the incredible musicians who feature on the EP!
